Subway

We came here for subs and left feeling horrible for the staff. 5 stars for the food 5 stars for the condition of bathrooms and eating area 5 stars for the staff 1 star for the treatment of staff. One of the ladies making our subs broke down in tears as she said she had been working 20 hours none stop due to not enough staff and new staff just quitting. Also, subway has changed the way they do the subs which added onto the stress of the team. Having an employee break down in front of customers is one thing but hearing how they're treated is another. We were still greeted with a smile and had a fantastic sandwich even though they're dealing with so much. If you pop through, be an encouragement to this team because they need it.

Excellent service from the young lady working at the Marshall, IL Subway. However, as parents and grandparents it was alarming to see her working by herself, especially with nearby Truck Stops and Interstate 70 so close. NOT SAFE AT ALL! If staffing is so short handed, the drive thru needs to be the point of sale, with the doors locked until there is adequate staffing.

Ordered in advance, order was repeated to the woman taking the order, and then repeated back to me. Picked up, drove a half hour away to spend time with family, found out the order was messed up. Very disappointed. Money wasted. Will not waste $40 at this restaurant again. Not the first time this has happened, either. From now on, I will be going anywhere else that can actually take my order and make it right.
