Hops N Drops

This is our go-to family eatery joint in the MV. Great menu and every dish I’ve tried has always been on-point. Some easy staples like burgers and great appetizers but also the triple threat chicken sandwich and shrimp poor boy are some of my go-to meals here. Take out is great, but dine is always the best so you get to also enjoy their fast friendly staff that you can tell work as a team and really know their systems. Great bar also to watch the game and enjoy beer on top of course. Simple and done just right.

Want great food and awesome drinks hit Hops n Drops for there fantastic happy hour! We also had the fish and chips, btw its delicious. Some of the best I've ever had and I travel alot. Also the service was outstanding and the teamwork amount employees to ensure all tables were taken care of on point. If your server was not available, rest assure another server will be there to ensure your experience is great. Keep it up Hops n Drops!! We will be back soon!

Today, we found a hair in our fiesta mac. YUCK! I Called and let them know. Offered a gift card or if I wanted to drive back they would make another meal. Appétit gone! Update, Hop n Drops was very sorry for this to happen at their restaurant. Gave us a $25 gift card. I appreciate how well they treated my husband and I when we brought the food back. Very responsive. Ordered the steak salad for my girlfriend who claimed it was her favorite dish from Hops n Drops. We were very disappointed by the final product which was far from the salad she remembered so fondly. Advertised as a dinner salad at over $17 after tax but the portions were a glorified side salad. The worst part was the "steak" which was so dry, overcooked and mishandled it might as well have been hamburger meat. On top of all that I was appalled to see how packed the restaurant was when I picked up the salad to go. Clearly no attempt to adhere to social distancing mandates as I could see, just from the curb, that there were two separate groups of about 5 people seated very close to each other. No attempt to keep parties more than 6 feet apart and in the short time I was waiting for my food at least a dozen or so people exited the restaurant with no mask on. This means the staff clearly disregarded the necessary measures to prevent the spread of covid. Every one of those people who exited the building without a mask clearly walked past other unmasked guests in very close proximity. Shame on you Hops n Drops, not only for disgracing steak in such a tasteless fashion, but more so for blatantly ignoring pandemic protocol. [Not one to waste food or money she ate the salad but picked around the "steak" as you can see from the picture.] One could say they didn't HOP to it when it came to safe pandemic practices, and they clearly DROPPED the ball when it came to our food!

So I started off with a serious bias against this restaurant because for whatever reason I find replacing the word "and" with "N" very irritating....but OH MY GOSH did they overcome my bias. The service was personable, and the food was astonishingly wonderful. Like, "how does this exist in the mortal plain" good, at least for me. Excellent!!!

It was my first time there and the wait staff was wonderful and the food was very delicious. My brother chose to go there for his birthday dinner, the first item on the list for sandwiches. He kept saying how juicy it was Plus coconut shrimp and two extra large beers. I had the grilled chicken wrap and they were two huge pieces and I only ate a half of 1 but I brought them home and I will have them for tomorrow. I will be back.
