We recently held a wedding celebration meal at GINO for 40+ guest and the whole experience was perfect. From the organisation in advance to the service and food on the day, we couldn't have asked for more. We received excellent feedback from our friends and family and we were really able to enjoy the day, knowing that everything was taken care of. They were also extremely accommodating to young ones and those with dietary requirements.

Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful.
Massive helpings and food all very tasty.
The lunch and early evening menu is great value, cocktail to start and 2 course for £25!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Didn't have room for dessert after a starter and the roast beef!!! 🥴🫤

Visiting Manchester for a day, so many places to choose from to eat. I am a bit of a Gino fan so wanted to go to the restaurant. Restaurant is very clean and beautifully presented. It does feel very “hotel restaurant” - which obviously it is. Food was very nice (I was a bit gutted that my most favourite dish - aubergine parmigiana - was unavailable), but I enjoyed my pasta Alla Norma and my partner enjoyed his Super-Spicy pizza. Cost was on a par with other Italian restaurants, overall it was a lovely meal in a lovely place with good service and I would be more than happy to recommend to others and eat there again myself but for five-stars I really needed a ‘wow’ which I didn’t feel I got.

Updating my review to reflect me going back a second time. This time was great and everything top notch especially the food and service. I had a wonderful 3 course meal. It was a lovely night and the experience was miles different than my first time. I’m glad the management has taken steps to do better. I look forward to visiting again
I came here on the 25th of December to celebrate my birthday with a dinner. The service was terrible and I was kept waiting for 2 hours before getting a single meal and over an hour before even getting seated. This put me in a terrible mood on a day I should be celebrating.
The food itself was good but how could I have enjoyed it with the poor service experience.
I would also say that all meals for Christmas Day were pre booked and a deposit of £40pp paid in advance, so the restaurant knew how many people were coming on the day and there was no reason for people not to be seated at the right time or for the place to be overbooked.
I did not enjoy my experience and they tainted my otherwise beautiful birthday.

Throughly recommended. We visited for the Sunday roast and were looked after impeccably well by Pedro and the team from start to finish. Great quality food to match.

Amazing restaurant, I came 2 nights in a row just to try more dishes! Extensive menu, fine dining service and absolutely delicious food with high quality (and extensive options) wine. Pedro served me my second night and he was attentive, polite and thorough with his service. Highly recommend this restaurant

I had gone with my family to celebrate my 25th birthday and being first time customers we absolutely enjoyed our time here and was a delightful experience. The food, service and ambience are equally excellent and couldn’t have made my birthday more special. We were treated very well from the moment we came in. Our waiter Paolo was really attentive and caring and made sure we had a great time. We were really happy to get such good service, thank you Paolo.
Will definitely be coming back again! Thank you for giving us an amazing dining experience.

Fantastic! Highly recommend! A wonderful afternoon tea in a fabulous environment, very classy and I’m fussy! Not rushed either despite it getting busy as the afternoon progressed into evening. Excellent service - highly attentive. Thanks Pedro + team. Will return!

I went with a friend for the Italian Afternoon Tea using a voucher purchased before Christmas. We were given a warm and friendly welcome by all staff. At first, we did not realise that the restaurant had only just reopened on the day of our visit after being rebranded as a Gino D'Acampo venue and as the reopening was very understated, were surprised when we were given a glass of prosecco as a celebration of this.
The Afternoon Tea itself was very enjoyable and well presented, and when we requested to change one of the sandwiches to a different filling, this was done for us with no problem.
In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely return.
Our only criticism was that the restaurant was quite cold
