Lakeside Cafe

Very yummy breakfast/lunch. Sundays are super busy but we got our drinks quickly enough. Our server was so friendly. Beware they actually have an indoor smoking section but they have blowers & vents & it didn't bother me at all. Fun fact, they have melted butter on the tables in mustard bottles! A plus for oatmeal or grits. My eggs were cooked exactly to order & the smothered biscuits were delicious. They really know how to make a great glass of Southern sweet tea. I would stop in just for that. I will definitely go back if I visit the area again.

I love it there. You can have anything you want. If you want breakfast and coffee, you got it. Mexican? Yes. If you need to get out of the house, you can go here for drinks and a game of pool. The food and service were excellent, and I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. They have a smoking and non-smoking section.

The food is absolutely wonderful. However, they could use a slightly more friendly wait staff, and need to update their online hours. Due to whatever is going on. The hours are incorrect, therefore if you intend to go, and attempt to enjoy the wonderful food that they serve, you will possibly be turned away hungry, and disappointed. Very sad. And they are not exactly polite when they tell you that they closed 5 minutes ago. Also VERY VERY SAD AND FRUSTRATING.

Its normally our place to have breakfast and always a great experience except for today. Service was extremely slow, once sat, we waited more than 30 minutes for the server to take our order and about 45 min. for our meals to come out. Maybe having kitchen issues today? We were really disappointed with our experience. We may just take a break for awhile and come back in a couple of months, hopefully things will get back to normal then..
