The Springfield Inn was so welcoming. We had a table next to the fire which was really cosy and we didn’t want to leave. The Sunday lunch was delicious, probably the best we’ve had in the area. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

I came here with my mum during a weekday and was served by Amy! She was nothing but kind and attentive to us during our visit. The food was incredible and loved the calm cosy atmosphere of the pub! Will be coming back, thanks Amy and the team x

What a lovely meal we had on our visit. Great value food and drinks and nothing was too much trouble. We hadn’t booked and even though the restaurant was busy we got a table straight away. My friend is quite the fussy eater but this wasn’t a problem and a big thank you to Phil in the kitchen for making it perfect. We will definitely return.

I came here on Saturday evening with my partner, a rare child free evening.
The food was absolutely brilliant, my steak was cooked perfectly with peppercorn sauce. My partner really enjoyed his meal too!

Food was absolutely brilliant. My partner and I decided to take a trip to The Springfield Inn hearing the reviews were good, and we can confirm those expectations. The food was top quality. The staff were welcoming and catered well for our needs.
Overall, a pleasant visit and will most definitely like to return on the future.

We have been here a few times now and always enjoy this venue.
The food is good and wholesome with a varied choice. The Sunday dinner is very good. Midweek meals are just as nice.
The staff can sometimes be scarce but they are busy and have a big area with little bits tucked away - no one can see through walls or around corners.
We drive approx 30 miles to enjoy this gem. We have never had an unwelcome experience. We have been as a family, with our parents, and as a couple. Always enjoying the venue, it's atmosphere, the food and the drink.

We came here for lunch and had the two courses for £15 and were very pleased! My steak was cooked perfectly and the starters were great - especially for the price. The interior was very classic and made it a pleasant vibe and the staff were very kind.

Potentially one of the best Sunday roasts out there!
I opted for the trio, which included turkey, beef and pork belly. Everything was beautifully cooked, no tough meat at all, and full of flavour. You also got a very generous amount of vegetables and offered extra gravy. The staff are also very friendly and the service is brill. I have already recommended it to friends and will be back for another roast!
