Sweet Tomatoes

We stopped by 12 minutes after they opened and I was surprised how few people where there. We normally go to the one on Bowles and it’s always busy but there is normally no wait at all. As we were going through the line, the carrots had a brown tinge, radishes, celery were obviously frozen. Radishes still were. The pre-prepared salads at the front definitely were from the day before as it was 12 minutes after opening and we were the third or fourth groups there. The interior is beautiful, open and clean. We won’t come back because Bowles is always fresh and even a day old take out salad looks better than these “fresh vegetables” It’s not fresh most re frozen.

Sweet Tomatoes is delicious. It is a little pricey, but the variety and ingredients are great. Whenever I go there, i eat a great deal and eat too much! It's good for the family too as they have choices so everyone gets what they want. They have thimgs other than salad as well. I recommend giving it a try.

Good place for a salad. Good thing you have trays to use because the tables are gross. Thought it odd one of the waitresses was hanging out by the ice-cream machine eating garlic bread. If they're on break they might wanna grab a table or go to another area. Just my opinion. If I was from the area I'd probably return. But would appreciate clean tables.

I am aware this place closes at 9pm but my boyfriend and I wanted a quick, light meal since it was already 8pm. I told my boyfriend they had a great build your own salad bar which won over his decision. Sadly when we got there the what options were left for the salad bar were very disappointing and didn't look even remotely fresh. They were even completely out of several salad dressing options. We made what we could for salads and thought we would grab some options from the hot food bar. Unfortunately we were disappointed there as well. They had completely ran out of mac-n-cheese, cheese pizza, a few other pastas and even one of the soups. We scraped up a few muffins and tried some of the other soups. At least we could look forward to the soft serve ice cream right? Wrong, they were completely out of that as well. Again I know it was an hour from closing time but plenty of people were still coming in after 8:30pm. I guess I'm just surprised that they didn't have enough supply for a weekend night. I used to like sweet tomatoes but sadly I'm not sure if I'll be going back.
