Very good got the eggs and Gulten free toast which was good. Was busy so little bit of a wait but was not a problem, the staff really hustled and got things done. Pan fries where good but I like when they add a little pepper and onion to them but just my preference. Place was clean and friendly and worth the wait.

I’m a trucker and I’ve eaten at thousands of eateries across the nation and there’s many great places to eat but I’ve gotta say not many as good as this one service top notch price worth every penny in my opinion you can’t go wrong if you live nearby your lucky if you ever get close enough to stop I advise you to one great place to go we had dinner and breakfast the next morning got 4 coffee mugs to take home 22 dollars for four.

UPDATED: Since the original post I have returned. The restaurant was busy, but the service was still good. I recommend this location based on this experience. ORIGINAL POST: Let's start with the positives. The place is clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. I was immediately greeted as I sat down at the counter. There were 2 other customers also seated at the counter. The food was fresh and delicious. Now begins the details of why I only gave 2 stars. It took 5 minutes for the server to ask what I would like to drink, and another 10 minutes to take my order... after another customer who had come in later than me. While I was waiting I overheard a customer say "I've been here alone before and still waited half an hour." Another customer came in who was clearly a regular had ordered grits, but the server didn't know they were out. He got up and left saying he was going somewhere else. The food came via another employee. My server never came to check on the meal or offer more coffee. I would be tolerant of this if it were busy, but it was not at all. Lastly, the heat is on over 80°F and people including myself found it uncomfortable. Friendly but terrible service to sum up the problem.

After my families experience earlier today, I will not come back, nor recommend it to anyone, even though the food was not bad. Waiting for an omlet to be remade while the rest of the family completely finished their food was one thing. Waiting over 40 minutes after that for a single pancake, homefries and bacon is absolutely unacceptable. My daughter and I were waiting over 25 minutes after the rest of the family had left. Working in restaurants from the age of 14, the way this morning was handled was absolutely unacceptable. I am giving a two, only because the waitress did what she could to assist the situation, otherwise I would only leave one star.
