Ember

It was a lovely experience which I would not expected to be found in Brick lane, the restaurant is newly opened, and you can tell that from the exterior decoration they kept from the last shop. Food-wise it got a good selection of everything, for starters, we tried the sourdough and croquettes. And for the main we have the cauliflower, kale, quail and pork belly. My favorite is definitely with the sourdough, which it was so simple yet so delicious, nothing beats a warm slice of bread with quality salt and butter. The other one that I liked is the cauliflower, which it has harissa spice added on top gives it another dimensions that I never thought could be such a good match. The rest of the food are above average but nothing exceeded our expectation. The wine that we got recommended was only so-so as well. Still, the attention of the services and the smiles on both the restaurant manager and the chef was nothing but genuine.
