My wife remade our sandwiches once we got home. Most of the meat (80%) was crammed into the middle of our sandwiches. No harm, no foul.
Our sandwiches were good, and the employees were friendly and professional.
We'll be returning soon.
09/06/23 - The food is good and the service is very good. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm and dank. Everyone ordered takeout. There were no customers dining in side.

The sandwich was great. I had the turkey bacon ranch. They warm the meat and cheese, and the bun was fresh. Parking was a little harder than I would have liked.

My wife and I haven't had firehouse in about 2 years and finally decided to come to this one. It was good, it wasn't like we remembered, but it was still good. I'd definitely recommend coming here.

Update after covid. Subs are still amazing. I've been in to pick up an online order twice and I no longer see the whole selection of hot sauces they used to have. Regardless the service is always quick, the online portal is super easy to use, and the food is still fantastic. 2022. Ps these are two different trips but the same sandwich. The engineer sandwich is now in my dreams.

It is a little over a block away from the Lansing Conference Center. About a 7 minute walk. It was busy so we ordered using the app. Second sub was free using points. The crew was cranking out great subs. 3 tables outside on the sidewalk, several inside. Quality snacks like chips and cookies. It is always busy but they get the custom orders out quickly.

First time here. Had the Italian. It was delicious!. Customer service was great...the ladies behind the counter greeted us in and also greeted us out! Plus the gentleman behind the counter recommended some choices. Overall awesome experience. Will definitely come back!

Delicious subs. I really like their roast beef. The friendliest staff and don’t forget that pickle! Really crunchy dill pickle wedges. This is where we occasionally get a red plastic bucket for gardening as well.

Really tasty subs at a reasonable price for how much meat is on the sandwiches. Great selection of hot sauce if that's your thing. Only been there during lunch, which seems to be their busiest time, but their staff seems to still get food out in a timely manner even with lines out the door. Very friendly employees who greet each customer with a smile, and wish them a good day! I highly suggest this restaurant to anyone downtown looking for a quick bite to eat that also fills you up! Their soups are also very good, though a little pricey but the pairs option is well worth it!
