I last ate as well as this in Bologna, wonderful Italian food with perfectly judged ingredients expertly cooked. Our waiter was lovely and it is a splendid place to dine.

Wow this is proper Italian food. They do things like buckwheat pasta and osso bucco that you rarely see in the uk. I had chicken with lemon and roast veg, and very beautifully done side veg. Delicious! I’m gluten free but this didn’t phase the charming waiter, and there are various gf and veg things on the menu. The venue looks very ordinary from the outside, but do go in for beautiful decor, food, drink and service.

Surprisingly good seafood! We have had oyster and baby squid for starter then clams spaghetti and roast turbot for main, all very good and fresh. Love my dessert too. Love the menu very good sections of Italian food, too many food in the menu I want to try. Can see why this place is not busy think most people just like a boring menu...but I will definitely be back again soon.

This is without question the finest fine dining Italian restaurant north of Florence! It is seriously special! The food, the wine, the service are all 6 star. I love dining here.

What an incredible find!!! Without a doubt the best meal we’ve had in the UK.
Really generous portions, beautiful wine and fantastic service. Highly recommend the beef carpaccio, scallops with black pudding, saffron risotto with Italian sausages and ricotta gnocchi.

Fantastic food, a proper Italian that is not all pasta and pizza. Duck and lamb a favourite along with the scallops on black pudding starter. Portions are generous so you will leave satisfied. Best restaurant in Lanark

High quality food and service. Nice wine list. Not busy when we visited which is a shame because it deserves high popularity to keep it in business. Food prepared with great care and friendly attentive staff. A highlight of our dining in Britain.
