Only one table when we arrived at 10:30. They were having coffee and talking very loudly the entire time we were there. Had to flag waitress from her phone activity to take our order. Breakfast served after 20+ minutes, missing hash browns. Waitress did not check back until 1/2 way through our meal.
I pointed out no hash browns...she offered to have them made I said no t enough time. She corrected our bill but forgot to include sausage. When paying the bill the Cook/Owner said "you had sausage too right"and tacked on $2. No apology for miscue.
Food was quality and cooked well.
Omelettes are a better value but the whole menu is overpriced for the area.

Tip-Top Coffee Shop! I’m a long time frequent customer of Java by the Bay in beautiful L’Anse, Michigan. They serve outstanding coffee drinks and made to order breakfast & lunch. So don’t hold off until you get to a Starbucks if you’re passing through. This place is better - hands down!!!

Great chance find as we drove through. Wonderful coffee, great portobello grilled sandwich and green smoothie! Lots on the menu for meat & cheese eaters too! Energy is upbeat & fun!

Good coffee and muffins. For opening at 6 am, I expected them to have more of a breakfast food selection. I wasn't in the mood for a sandwich at 10 am, but staff was friendly and decor was cosy.

I stopped by for a coffee in the morning today and loved it ! Well decorated and very clean. The service was great and the lady there was very polite! I will definitely visit the place again and would recommend it to everyone!
