Exceptional Portuguese restaurant on the busy Austin Blvd in Island Park. This small, unassuming locations reveals quite a treat once you walk in the door. A warm ambiance is present from the both the decor and personable staff. All of the food was delicious from the pork and clams to the meat platter. 10/10 experience.

Great food. Everything was on the mark. Steak sandwich was a home run, the bread came out crispy but soft. Loved that. Desert and coffee was great as well. Will be back.

What a treat to stumble upon this local Portuguese restaurant. Food tasted fresh. Sangria was delicious. Service was superb and professional. Our waiter was super friendly. Would eat here again! Tiramisu was also fluffy and lovely.

Encountered this Portuguese restaurant while visiting the area. Was pleasantly surprised. We had lunch, not busy and the service, drinks, and food were great. Frank was very nice and attentive.

Food and service were great. Only 4 stars for atmosphere since one of the focal walls is in dire need of a paint job (due to chairs backing into it and scraping) and the women's toilet is place uncomfortably close to the wall 😅

Incredible drinks, food, and service! Went there for a glass of sangria after work after passing it so many times and wanting to try it, absolutely my new favorite spot!
Our bartender, Frank, was super attentive and very friendly. He helped us chose a wine that my friend would like and made an INCREDIBLE sangria and made great food suggestions.

I didn't expect to love it. We passed by a few times and then stopped in one day and we feel in love with the food, vibe, and service.
The antipasto for two should be everyone's try. Grilled calamari, not only tastes great but the presentation is •chef's kiss•.
The service is impeccable, always there when you need them and not when you don't. If you know what I mean.
Vibe is great, the table layout never go ee ok s like the people next to you might as well be sitting at your table.
Definitely worth everyone's shot.

I would like to thank the staff for being accommodating. I have been to this establishment multiple time, and every time I come they treat me with respect and dignity. I went for the Superbowl to eat and watch the game at the bar. Frank remembered that I do not drink alcohol from the last time that I came to the restaurant. Frank had mentioned that he was working on some non-alcoholic drinks for people like me who chose not to drink. Frank kept his promise. His non-alcoholic Grapefruit Drink was delicious, he also had a nice lemon/cinnamon drink that made me want more. The food was also delicious, they had these good wings they whipped up for the Superbowl that was nice. Every time i visit, their food is always well cooked and seasoned to perfection. The fact that these guys always have something to make a customer feel good, makes me keep coming back. Thank you Frank, and thank you to all the staff. Your food warms my belly, but your service and attention to detail warms my heart.

Friends took me here and it did not disappoint. The fish soup was outstanding. The bronzini in garlic sauce was delicious. My dirty martini was well made also.
