Clean, tidy store. Friendly, helpful staff. Store a bit crowded and chaotic but excellent selection of fresh produce and baked goods.

A well stocked store with quality produce. The shop has managed to keep its cafe . I had the pea and ham soup with a rustic roll. The was lovely, although I had to wait ages after ordering it

A waitroses go this store is very Waitrose. Great for the house prices in Hitchen. Lovely clean store. Staff always happy to help.

Usually do on-line shopping but not always Waitrose. However my supermarket of choicee for in-store shopping is Waitrose. The Hitchin branch is ideal. Big enough without being too big. Staff knowledgeable and helpful.

Hitchin is a lovely store, it’s relatively small but still well stocked. The shelves are always well stocked and everywhere is very clean. The staff are always very pleasant and happy to help. I love the quick scan option as it means I don’t need to unpack and repack bags, occasionally you will get a random rescan where they have to scan items in your shopping, which is fair enough.

Visited coffee shop - lovely lemon meringue flavour cookie & latte.

Great quality food with a wide assortment as usual, staff very friendly.
I did purchase a prawn sandwich which unfortunately was decidedly lacking in filling which was disappointing on this occasion but I know this isn't typical.
Otherwise very happy
