Bruegger's Bagels

I love Bruegger's Bagels! Rosemary & olive oil is my favorite, but they're all good. The smoked salmon/lox sandwiches are the best, but again, they're all good. I had a great experience yesterday. I was going to the Hingham store for a half-dozen, so I called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted. A lady I have previously had the pleasure of speaking with (Gerry) said she would make some up and she had them ready for me when I arrived. My daughter got a chocolate chip cookie and we both left feeling very happy 😊

I love brueggers but this location is horrible. I used to religiously order in the app and always get egg whites instead of regular eggs. I wish I could tell you the amount of times I had to turn back around to get my correct order with egg whites. Kept coming back (not sure why) and would order the same thing in store, because maybe there’s an issue with the app (even though my receipt clearly would say egg white). EVEN THEN my order has been wrong multiple times. I would understand not being able to hear but they can ask for the order to be repeated but they usually repeat the order back. Not sure why they offer egg whites if nobody knows how to make a sandwich with them. I would understand if it’s busy or if people are new but I see the same people every time and half the time there’s nobody in the store. And I’m not even talking about the multiple times I’ve been given the wrong order. I shouldn’t have to check my order in the Parking lot every time to make sure it’s right. I will say one of the probably dozen of times this is has happened I was offered a free sandwich. But most of the time I don’t even get an apology. I really wish there was a closer location because I feel stupid coming here when I know my order will be wrong.

While the bagels are tasty, the service is so bad that I wouldn’t return. We had a really simple order of a few toasted bagels with butter. It took them over 30 minutes to complete this order, and the employees behind the counter didn’t seem to be concerned about their pace of work. I’m a very patient customer when I can tell that the employees are doing everything in their power, this team was lazy, not helpful and it wasn’t even busy!!! What a disappointment in staffing at this location. Have never had this experience at other Breuggers locations.

Good place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Great selection of flavors for both bagels and spreads and the array of options on offer is enough to please anyone. I like the fact you can buy the spreads seperately to take home. The cream cheese is really good on crackers, too, or as an ingredient to be used in a variety of dishes. I also should point out that the service is always quick and the food is always made to order and tastes fresh. My only complaint is that they close mid-afternoon. I think they'd still do a lot of business if they stayed open a little later.
