The Hare

I was pleasantly surprised when we ate at the Hare this afternoon, as I admit that I had avoided it - being influenced by some of the previous reviews which said that the food was overpriced. My honest opinion is that the prices are fair and not inflated as the burger I had was excellent, and the accompanying chips were as chips always should be, hot, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The pistachio souffle dessert was brilliant, and the china pot it came in had been dusted inside with dark chocolate. When food is this good I don't mind paying a little more, but I don't think it was higher than many other pubs. It doesn't often happen, but I sent my compliments to the chef! Delicious food and highly recommended.

One particular server named Constantine stood out with his exceptional skills. He had a great sense of humor, which added a touch of charm to the dining experience. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. Constantine truly went above and beyond to make our stay at The Hare memorable. To end the evening on a sweet note, I decided to indulge in an amaretto coffee, and it was simply divine. The rich flavors of the amaretto combined with the aromatic coffee created a heavenly combination that left me thoroughly satisfied. Overall, I cannot recommend The Hare enough. The combination of fantastic food, excellent service, and delightful atmosphere made for an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends, The Hare is the perfect choice. Thanks to the wonderful staff, including the outstanding Constantine, my visit was truly memorable. I am already looking forward to returning to The Hare for another remarkable dining experience.

Excellent hospitality, great crowd, staff, excellent meals equivalent to fine dining. Sameer, Surjit and the ladies made it extra special for us and our Dog who caught lot of attention. Must visit again! And special occasion so decided celebrating there with Sameer and team. Met two new staff there Flora and Kamal. Lovely staff. Starters were just okay but main course as always was great. More pics added. The ice cream on the house was sweet gesture for the occasion. Our pooch settled in well too but a suggestion do introduce some thing on menu for them too like Boiled chicken or dog sausage etc. See you all again!

First visit & very impressed! Was looking for a pub lunch with decent outdoor seating (not wooden benches) & The Hare did not disappoint. Food was quick, lovely menu, definitely restaurant not pub grub. Very reasonable prices & great service. Be aware 10% service charge added (without warning) but to be fair we were happy because everything was great.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Upon entering, we were greeted by a bustling atmosphere, which was warm and inviting. The food itself was delicious. We had the roast beef and would definitely recommend it. The desserts were even more delectable and we would certainly return to have another helping.
