Great little place, don't let the appearance fool you. The food was awesome.

Our usual sushi place in Surf City was closed, so we decided to try sushi gem. We will be back! Loved the salmon lemon roll, very different from rolls I have tried before. Staff was friendly and attentive, look forward to try coming back and trying more rolls.

The neighborhood sushi place. Turned on to it by a long time local. Solid Sushi, but if your not a fan, plenty of Asian cooked dishes. I love to sit at the bar, sip on Saki (unfiltered) and wait for my family’s order.

Both my husband and I love this restaurant, as well as my kids, ages 8 and 10. Staff is always friendly, and the curry is amazing! The sushi is also very good and the bang bang shrimp is a favorite as well.

It was and amazing place our waitress didn't come to our table rlly often to check on us but other than that pretty good.

Sushi was great. Some of the other appetizers we had were really good. Can't say much about the atmosphere cause we got take out.

The food is just okay. But I am used to the best hibachi and sushi. It is a decent family place for those who like food like this from buffets. This is not a buffet, but that genre of food. The server was wonderful and I left her $20 for my $80 ticket for 2 adult dinners.

I had the tempura which was absolutely delicious. Our waitress could not have been more attentive. We have been there many times in the past and have never been disappointed.

Great food, it was my first time eating here with my cousin and I absolutely loved the food! Staff is very friendly and kind! Will be a returning customer!! Love their food!!
