Tope La

This was my first visit to this establishment and I have to say the food was exceptional. We went as a large crowd after a performance at the Columbia theater and there were many other people there waiting and we were told only one waitress. The few staff working...bar, chef, and waitress..were very accommodating. The eggplant, crab appetizer was delicious. Large enough that I didn't need to order an entree. I ordered the crab cakes and took them home. This food is delicious and I can't wait to go back. The selection on the menu is like no where else. Fresh...beautiful presentation and taste wonderful. Open one in Abita closer to us!!

Had a great experience dining here with a large party. I ordered off the Italian menu and was very happy with the lasagna. It was a large portion, everyone else's dishes were large too, and full of flavor. I also recommend the fried olive appetizer, I've never had that anywhere before and really enjoyed it.

This place is amazing! I have never had a bad meal here. Today is Father's day and we went and had Asian duck tenders and porcupine balls for the appetizers, and for the entrees we had the veal porter house, lamb chops, crab pasta bake, grouper over pasta, and Cajuns Benedict. Everything was perfect! Oh and don't forget to try the bread pudding!!!!

I've only ever ordered take out from here but have never been disappointed. I think I can give a better review once I have the dine in experience. I would say if this is your type of food you like to eat and you're in the area, give this a try. It is on the more expensive side but you truly get what you pay for.
