Jiangnan

We came in here by accident, thinking it was another restaurant. It was a half hour past close, and they sat us. We decided to get take out after realizing, and were unsure because we'd never been, it's clearly a family restaurant and some of the reviews. We're very happy though, the food is delicious. Best ginger beef I've had in Halifax, up there with 9 + nine. Great portions and good prices. The atmosphere of the restaurant could be better, but it's clean, with beautiful plants. Please disregard all the negative reviews, they're almost all 2-5years old except one messed up uber order. It's worth a visit! Thanks for taking care of us 🙂

Really upsetting to see all the bad reviews, however many of the bad reviews seem old and they have gotten much better. I had chicken balls, fried rice and beef and broccoli. The rice and broccoli were fantastic, and I'd like to try some other menu items. The staff was nice, it seems to be a family buisness which is probably why the service can sometimes be slow. There are still a few flaws (when we came in the restaurant was empty except for a child playing an ipad), and the chicken balls could have been more flavourful and were a bit hard on the outside. I had a great experience and I think it is a nice family doing their best with a small staff.
