As far as customer service goes it doesn’t get any better than this! Adora and Jade are quick to make anyone feel like a regular and the coffee gets an A+ from me. Definitely worth checking out their location in the public gardens in the summer months for a cool atmosphere and tasty baked goods!

Uncommon Grounds is such a vibe! Friendly staff, great coffee, and tasty paninis. Also, their prices are reasonable. I would recommend trying the turkey cranberry panini! It's a crowd pleaser

Go here almost every day. Their coffee is unbelievable, and their service is great (if a little slow, only due to how busy it gets. I take it as a good sign). Their bagels come highly recommended.

Overall, great place for students to hang out and enjoy a quick snack between classes. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the drinks are excellent. More specifically, I would recommend their Italian Soda, matcha lattes, bagels and cookies. The cookies are huge for their price and always satisfy a sweet tooth. The bagels are from Izzy’s Bagel Co. and are delicious. The Italian Soda and matcha lattes are both great pick-me ups throughout the day. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the foods are hit or miss and the cafe is typically bustling. The brownies are not great and neither are the oatcakes, and it can be extremely difficult to find a place to sit during the lunch rush. However, if you stick with their signature foods and are only intending to drop in quickly to pick up your food/drink, you’ll be sure to enjoy your visit.

Stopped here for coffee twice during our visit to Halifax. Takes the top spot for best coffee I had during the entire trip. Staff were friendly. Space is unique being somewhat underground.
