Starbucks

This is our regular Starbucks and we have always had super friendly service. I placed an order from the app and when I went to pick it up they were out of one of the bakery items. They let me pick something else instead and also had popped in the bag a free bagel, in addition to making my tall coffee a venti. Really appreciated them going above and beyond.

Normally pretty good however on this snowy day I got in drive-through line of approximately six cars. Got to the ordering screen and I repeatedly asked if anybody was there or if they were open. After about a minute I drove to the window and saw a paper sign where you pick up your drinks stating they are temporarily closed. I finally got the attention of a worker inside and when I told him they don’t have signs on the drive-through stating they are closed he replied, “exciting,” in a super sarcastic tone. I would love to get in touch with his manager but I can’t find how to do so. I don’t think his manager would be too pleased with his response. I wasn’t angry at the kid but trying to give them a suggestion so he doesn’t have a continuous line of 5 to 8 cars that have no hope of getting a coffee.

Has never been one of the best locations. Speed has never been consistent but used to be one of the better locations for consistent flavor. But despite spacing out my visits by several weeks, today was the third and final visit. I can only assume Starbucks now has their senior barristas who have been making coffee for 3 weeks, training the new hires. I have to wonder if anyone knows how to pull proper shots anymore. Wish I had another 10 minutes to sit I. The drive thru and get a replacement, but this is also probably the best they have to offer, so whats the point.
