Called in on FA Cup Final day after watching our Westhoughton Cricket Team win at Glossop CC.
Pub full of jubilant City fans and sulking United fans but the landlady allowed us to put our Cricket flag up to derision and humour. What followed was a couple of hours of a quality British pub.
The staff were so friendly and efficient and the locals were superb in their welcome and banter.
Aptly named The Friendship, we had a great time and will certainly visit on our next trip to Glossop

Nice pub, beer well kept, very popular. I can see why they tore out the old bench seating, it was very dated... But it was much more comfortable than the chairs that replaced it. I believe they do very good prices on pies.

Prefect name for this cute friendly pub with a relaxed and local atmosphere. Great selection of reasonably priced ales. Can get a bit cramped in the main room but pool and darts room at the back as well as a lovely beer garden.

We visited here today, myself hubby & daughter. From walking in we were welcomed by a lovely lad who served our drinks and took our food order. We sat in the beer garden which was very comfortable. Our food arrived and we were more than happy... very tasty home cooked meals and very reasonably priced. This place is fully deserving of a 5 star rating and we’ll definitely visit again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
