Embargo

Me and my partner visited Embargo on Friday and we LOVED it. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The place itself had a great bustling energy that really suited the type of food on offer. Despite the place being packed, our server was always sure to check we had everything we needed and she had the most infectious positive energy. When we entered, we were seated in an area that had very bright flashing Christmas fairy lights, and because the restaurant has a lovely dimly lit atmosphere it unfortunately created a hazard for myself as I take seizures. We politely mentioned to our server and were extremely impressed at the speed and efficiency the restaurant handled this. We then ordered some food and some drinks and because our starters were late out, the restaurant refunded the cost of them, which I again felt was above and beyond in terms of customer service. The food itself was AMAZING. Absolutely amazing. Overall we had the most fantastic experience, would recommend to anyone and we are looking forward to our next visit already.

Couldn't fault this lovely place, staff were great, helpful friendly welcoming, lovely vibe to the place too, good for catching up with friends or a date night, i was there on a monday night and will head back at the weekend, cocktails are actually the best ive found n ive tried a lot of cocktails, food too was delicious i tried the Korean chicken boa buns and loaded embargo fries both a first for me and delicious n i look forward to trying other tasties off a great menu.the place was recommended by a friend and ill be recommending on to others, lovely night. ❤️

A little bit overpriced but works out well if you are a student because they have a 30% student discount. I absolutely love the food. They have starters, bao buns, curriee, burgers, ramen, loaded fries and sides. They have gluten free alternatives for the ramen, the bao buns and the burgers which is fantastic. They also have vegan and vegetarian alternatives. The quality is fantastic and the taste is even better. I would totally recommend.
