Summer Moon

This place is so cute and cozy, AND their drinks are delicious. We ordered the frozen horchata and moon milk latte. We went an hour before closing so no pastries, but they sell those too! There are also front and back outdoor seating areas. Also there’s a small parking lot one shop away (next to the mural).

Summer Moon has some of the BEST coffee I have EVER had at any coffee shop. Bold statement? Absolutely. Am I bluffing? Not in the slightest. Summer Moon slings the real deal coffee, especially when we’re talking about moon milk being involved. What I love about Summer Moon so much is how unique they are. Their name, Summer Moon, comes in part due to the type of creamer/ sweetener they use for their coffee, which is called Moon Milk. Moon Milk is a house made special sweet milk that apparently has 7 secret ingredients. I want this secret recipe more than the Krabby Patty formula.. I swear that moon milk is actually crack because it’s so addicting, but all I can say is that when it’s added to coffee it makes for the most delicious and unreal drink compared to any other one I’ve tried. They do give you the option of how much moon milk you’d like as well- a quarter moon for those who like it less sweet, to half moon to 3/4 moon for the sweetest. And don’t even get me started on the frappes. Some of my family lives in Frisco, and every time we go we strongly request to visit Summer Moon. It’s not an ‘if’ but ‘when’ are we going. In my most recent trip to TX, we were there for 4 days. Guess how many times we had Summer Moon… yep, that’s right- 4 times— Every single day. This place really is that good, and it’s also very worth ordering online ahead of time because I am far from the only one hooked on moon milk. Now excuse me while I try to figure out how to get my hands on that secret formula…
