We came because of the ratings and almost left because of the size of the restaurant. We are so HAPPY we stayed. The food was AMAZING. Everything we ordered was exquisite. The owner provided us with the food and what a personality, making the whole experience so enjoyable. Please come and support this establishment. You can’t go wrong.

A must-visit for me every time I'm in the area - the sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious every time, comparable quality to high-end omakase restaurants I've visited before. The chirashi bowl is a must-have. The chef / owner is so kind and passionate about his work, it's always a pleasure to visit.

Domo Sushi does offer excellent fish quality. You will see in my picture that the Sashimi Deluxe platter (for two) looks great. The fish absolutely tasted fresh and the presentation was phenomenal. I do have two items to mention that almost drove me to give them a 4-star rating: 1) Some of the sushi chunks are more like slivers (very thin) while others are nice and thick (like the yellow tail in the picture). Yellow tail is my favorite, so I was okay with that somewhat. 2) The other item is that they charge a surcharge for people not paying with CASH. I did not think restaurants were allowed to charge more for credit customers, but this restaurant does. It is a bit of a turn-off, but livable, I guess. #bechego

Sushi rice was just right and sushi was great with hot wasabi. We enjoyed especially Tempra Roll.

The food is absolutely terrible, it took more than 20 minutes to make, the portions were very small, the dumpling portion had only 4 dumplings, 1 dumpling had a hair in it. The ramen had just 2 small pieces of meat and 1 small piece of Tofu. Almost $40 to starve. I had to finish my dinner by eating a hot pocket. If you wanna waste your money, come here.

Horrible food. Horrible prices. Found a piece of plastic in our dish and the owners didn’t handle the situation correctly at all. Won’t ever go back

Do not order here without looking at the price. I have had sushi all over New York and never in my life spent 29 dollars on 2 California rolls and 1 shrimp tempura roll ! A COMPLETE RIP OFF. Save your money and go to Izumi in Wappingers you’ll thank me

This is by far the best sushi in the area. It is always fresh and they have some great special rolls. it is also very reasonably priced and the people who work there are very nice.
