Corporal Dee Bbq

We ate take out from here tonight. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant but will certainly be making the trip to eat here again. We had the ribs and brisket sandwich meals. Ribs were juicy fall off the bone lovely. Hickory sauce was unbelievable! Brisket was tender and well seasoned. Mac and cheese was some of the best Mac and cheese I have eaten in a while! Even the french fries were good! Portions were larger than expected, which was awesome! Food was still warm even after the half hour ride home! Thanks Corporal Dee BBQ for an amazing dinner tonight. We will be back for sure! Please ignore the negative reviews on this place and definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed! We loved it!

This place always delivers big taste and great service. The brisket and ribs are top shelf and the different sauces are phenomenal. The wings are a must have and I personally love the mustard sauce. And don't forget the soup. Ive had several soups there and the all blow me away. You never get tired of the Dee's specials as well from BBQ spaghetti to money meat piled high. Highly recommended and everyone I take there is a repeat customer.

This was so disappointed. I was craving BBQ like what I had eaten in Austin, TX and from what I read, this place should have been good. The brisket was rubbery and flavorless, the ribs were sooo dry, it was like eating jerky. The chicken as just a shredded chicken breast with Old Bay on top. The Mac and cheese was terrible, the corn bread was dry and oily at the same time, and the fries had a terrible seasoning on it. The only this good they had was a sample of a soup I was given while I waited for my food the be prepared. If you like Texan BBQ do not go here.

Whenever I go into a place like this, you start with a pulled pork sandwich. You don't worry about cornbread, sides or anything else. I want to see if they get their base product right and if the quality is there...A sandwich alone costs $8.48, so it should be amazing, instead you're paying for quantity not quality. They heap meat onto a sandwich with a roll that although good, can't handle the amount they are putting on and its basically falling apart on you. You end up using a fork and really it doesn't taste good enough to make it worth eating the entire sandwich. I've had the same thing twice now and similar results. Go hear if you don't mind a mediocre sandwich and think the price is good.

Best BBQ around by far. Everything is made by the owner. Everything on the menu is amazing and his specials are so creative. He is an artist for the taste buds. Don't bother with any of his local competitors Corporal Dee's is the real deal. He actually makes his own sauce. He DOESN'T buy sweet baby rays and add stuff to it like everyone else. All of this think on his food is making me really hungry. - Luke

This place is the best food in the area hands down. I’ve gone here for 5 years and have never once had an issue. There burger is still to this day my favorite burger ever. They are friends and have great customer service. I support this business because the owner ken is a really good guy with a big smile on his face. Honestly felt compelled to write this review because that place is heaven
