This is my favorite restaurant in Evanston! Everything about it is authentic Italian - the servers are knowledgeable and friendly, esp Grayson, the food is super fresh and authentic, and the new owner, Emanuele, is a great host too! I highly recommend any of the fresh, homemade pastas but especially the truffle one. We ordered it with the extra truffle oil and freshly shaved truffles, and Emanuele mixed everything up in a giant parmesan wheel tableside. What an amazing experience! Every single time we have been here we have had an unforgettable time.

Lovely little place we happened upon on a Friday night. Seating was a bit cozy (and uncomfortably hard after a while), but the live jazz standards, friendly staff, and excellent food outshined the close quarters. We especially enjoyed the meat and cheese tagliere (a bargain) and the Parmesan and truffle gnocchi. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere here is amazing, the food was very very good, we spent a lovely time , the server was very nice and responsive, the dish that we loved the most was Pasta with Truffle Mushrooms, muy delicioso. Great place will comeback.

Friendly service and delicious food. They forgot our salad, but it worked out since we were full already and they didn't charge us. Certain things outside of a typical student's price range, but there are definitely affordable options.

Good experience in a comfy atmosphere. Food was really good and tasted fresh. The wine I had (Sangiovese by the glass) was good, so was my wife cocktail amaretti sour..

Don't go there if you're hungry (see attached pic). I got more bread than pasta for my takout lunch menu.
Food is good, but pasta often undercooked (not al dente, undercooked). Young staff not very professionnal imo

Authentic Italian regional dining, feels like Italy! It's incredible to find this quality and attention to details in Evanston. The new owner (is also the Chef) spends a lot of time to design and prepare the dishes. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation is incredible. For Italian food standards in the US this is definitely more than 5 stars!
Will definitely come back!
