We found the Gatekeeper through a map search. We were staying overnight at the nearby Holiday Inn before crossing the Channel.
Fabulous find, great food and a varied choice menu. Warm welcome from the landlady, and a history of what is a charming pub with great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Nice pub near the Folkestone Eurotunnel. Great atmosphere with wooden beams and fireplace, must be really cozy during winter. Food is great, menu is changing regularly with daily specials. Great service.

Lovely pub with very good sit-down meals. Service I'm particular was fantastic, very friendly and funny. Only slight negative from our experience was very long waits for food, but on a Tuesday evening likely with fewer kitchen staff that can be understandable. Overall, highly recommend

What a fantastic pub! Staying nearby at Beechborough Park before taking Eurotunnel and found this delightful pub for dinner. The pub itself is welcoming, the atmosphere was charming, the food and ale was delicious and the staff were exemplary. I cannot praise this place enough, thoroughly recommended.
