Duck Donuts has a great brand that centers around freshly made donuts customized with 3 different options such as icing, toppings and drizzle. The dough is cake dough which is very soft, warm and light and there are several customization toppings which make for interesting options all the time. They are made right in front of you every time which is a welcome treat. They are small, slightly decadent and just the right amount of sweet and they aren't heavy, they are light due to the small size of each doughnut. I highly recommend these freshly made donuts if you reside in North County San Diego and have a craving for great tasty donuts.

Who doesn't love made to order fresh donuts?! A definite must stop if you're in Encinitas. Lots of different donuts to choose from or make your own, they're so good!!

oh my. sooooo good! it takes a little to get your donut BECAUSE ITS FRESH! seriously so worth the wait. Kids (and I) love to watch the donuts being made and topped. has indoor seating. only negative is that I didn't get enough donuts!

So excited that Duck Donuts came to SoCal! These cake style donuts are customized and made to order so you eat them warm. Coffee and other cold drinks available to get with order. So good, I would highly recommend giving them a try! The “Bacon in the Sun” is especially delicious.

Really tasty, fresh cake type donuts. It's a little overwhelming at first, but they have suggested flavors of donuts that are yummy. They make your donut for you, and it comes out nice and warm. Plus, the staff members are super friendly. We loved it!

I have been to 2 different locations now. The one in Jacksonville NC and this one. They have really great donuts. It's almost like funnel cake batter. They come out hot and fresh everytime. I love them. The only thing I was disappointed that the location on Encinitias doesnt have sandwiches.
