Dakashin dum biryani was horrible taste, when asked to replace with something else they refused. Chicken taste like spoiled so bad but they charge for full even though we didn’t eat it. Not recommending this place at all.

Love chicken biryani here . If u like it spicy , do let them know. Amazing spice and nicely done . You Don’t really feel heavy after eating.. ask for dakshin special biryani. Veggie dishes are ok . Non veg is better here . Molaga bajji was also good. Jalapeno poppers ... overall we liked it ... good parking facility and they follow covid standards for to-go orders..

Good restaurant to eat authentic south Indian dishes. They just need to improve little customer service. Food and price are overall reasonable. Love going there once a month.

Not worth visiting here. Biryani's are not like Biryani's. Worst behavior ever got from attender. They don't us treat as customers.
There are other places with good hospitality and with good food with lesser places around Edison.
Never ever attend this restaurant especially with family.

I have been going to this place for the last 20+ years.
I probably have had biryanis in lot of places...US and India..but DE's biryanis are the best. I am a stickler to quality, rice softness and subtle flavors. These guys nailed it.
Except for a few months in the past, the taste and quality has remained consistent throughout.
The cut mirchi is a absolute star for appetizers.

Quality has gone down very badly. Today was my second consecutive bad experience. Both times I ordered chicken biryani and it was stale smelling, chicken was dry and chewy. I suspect that they gave me an older batch. Very dissapointed.

Had Goat briyani and Dakshin special chicken briyani this afternoon and both are suffering from food poison. Felt chicken briyani was not fresh and it is proven.
