Kobe Express

I never know what to expect from this restaurant portion wise. Staff is very friendly. The last 2 times i’ve been to kobes the portions were fine. But this last time was disappointing. Smallest portion of rice i have ever seen. I wish i could go eat at kobes right now but i’m not spending the money again for hardly a plate of rice.this picture is what i saw when i opened my box. i have not ate any of it. Barely any vegetables, tons of steak and tiny bit of rice

Walking in I should have known things were going to be bad. By the look of the place, everything was old, crusty, and dirty. The waitress was not cleaned up. They only had one employee cooking the food. We ended up getting the hibachi steak with noodles. The noodles tasted expired the meat was burnt. The price came out to be $30, overall experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!

The food was alright. Way too expensive for the quality of food and service. The person in the drive through didn’t even acknowledge us until like five minutes after seeing us. After they answered the window, they were very short with us and quite frankly rude. On top of that, they forgot some of our food which I have been told is not uncommon for them. May go back but only because they are the cheapest, and has semi quality Asian food in Durant.

Kobe Express offers an acceptable dining environment with good food. Their customer service is very relaxed but if you are expecting something closer to the service you would get at home from a family member you will realize that their service isn't really too bad. For example, they have always been very kind to me, but will slowly bring a phone conversation to a close when a customer shows up. The dining area is acceptable there are booths and tables. They are kept clean, but not in a state of good repair. The food has always been enjoyable, yet I think for the location, quality of service, dining experience, and quality of food, that the food is overpriced. The total cost for three orders of teriyaki chicken fried rice and an extra order of carrots comes to $35 meaning we spent an average of $11.60 for each person, which I feel is too high for the service this restaurant offers. Overall, it's a good restaurant run by good people and I will be returning.

Good food. But employees pick and choose who they have pay by card if the total is less than $20. Orderd yesterday and order came to $17 and change and was able to pay by card. Call in for an order today for them to say that if the order it less than 20$ you have to pay cash. Ended up speaking with the employee who took my oder yesterday and said she give free passes if you don't know. Most definitely lost a customer over this issue
