Butterfields Buffet

The place looked clean, on weekdays the lunch buffet seems small and kinda limited on items, the deserts looked really nice but I didn't get a chance to try them. The waiter did seem to be on top of things and helpful, even the bus boy asked me if I needed anything which kinda impressed me. The staff inside was polite and friendly.

When they first switched up to lobster, it was great! Huge and fresh lobsters! I just went again last Saturday. May 14, 2022. They have different lobsters now. They barely qualify as large shrimp. Barely half the size of the original ones they were getting. They're also horrible quality. 3 out of the 9 lobsters I was given, were completely rotten to the core! It looked like they had been long dead, well before they were cooked/frozen. Horrible quality control! I really wish they would just bring back the crab legs. The only reason I give this place any stars at all... It's because the service is wonderful! The employees truly work hard! The food is severely lacking.

One of the worst meals I've had, especially for the money paid. We went on a Saturday night (Seafood night) and it was $50/person after tip, which is prepaid. I love seafood, and even though I knew this was "buffet seafood", I was still pretty excited. That excitement crashed pretty quickly. The selection of seafood was boiled shrimp, boiled lobster, oysters, and a few fried pieces of fish. Everything.....and I mean EVERYTHING was way overcooked. With enough cocktail sauce, the shrimp was only tolerable. The lobster, however, was a different story. It was beyond rubbery and even worse, it tasted like it was cooked in dishwater. My wife took one bite, spit it out, and said, "This lobster died for nothing". It was horrible. She tried to make due with a plate of veggies but they were way overcooked as well. Normally, we would go back for seconds at a buffet or at least get dessert, but one plate was enough to make us walk away. Again, one of the worst meals of my life. Very disappointing.

We paid full price for this buffet at $30 with a $5 discount so $25 per person. Unfortunately, the food on the day we ate there was average at best. The shrimp was the worst, overcooked and mushy. The fried chicken was, meh, but at least I could eat it. The fried fish was descent. Dessert had been sitting out so the icing/whipped cream was crusted over. If this meal was free because it was a casino comped situation, then OK but no one should ever pay more than $10.99 for the food that we ate there on the day we went. I would have paid that amount for the salad and fruit only. The highlight of our experience was that the service was amazing from both our server and the manager on duty! This casino needs to do better on their buffet.

Wayyyy overpriced at $30 per person. We arrived for Sunday brunch. The food was extremely ok. The food service at the counters was ok. Some counters didn't have anyone serving and you had to stand and wait a while. The ones that were serving weren't listening to what was asked for and moved on to the next person before we were done ordering. The salt shakers at the table were clogged and they said they had a humidity problem. The lid was rusty and the salt was too. Would not come back and the price left me not wanting to waste any more money in this casino.

Absolutely a waste of money. The Chinese food was bland and disgusting. The choices are very limited . And at 40 bucks a person it is a total rip off . Just let down . Golden corral is better with faster service and more choices. That's saying something I mean you can't put on a solid buffet charging people these prices and golden corral has you beat wow. Didn't want to give it one star but it made me .
