The Office Spiritorium

My husband and I visited on a Saturday night and got a seat on the couch right by the fireplace. This place has such a cool and authentic environment! We had 2 delicious drinks; the bartenders worked efficiently but took their time with each and every drink they made. There was also live music, which was a great added bonus. We would definitely go back!

I spotted this Spiritorium the first time we drove downtown and I was intrigued. I was destined to go here during our 9-day stay and I am so happy we made it. *smiles* I love, love, love the intimate atmosphere. During our visit, the guitarist was looping Johnny Cash and I was in heaven. the fireplace was next to us, we had a great window seat and our server was a gem of a delight. I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and I was impressed. Buzzed and impressed. I wish we would have nibbled on an appetizer since the reviews favor the food just as much as the cocktails.

Mixed feelings. The good: place is beautiful, love the decor. Food was very good. The not so good: Google says 10pm we get there at 850 sit down, our waitress took 5 mins to get over to us( only a few people there) then tells us we have 5 mins to order kitchen closes at 9. Covid or no Covid post correct hours and save customers time. We all hurried and ordered, they were out of the items 2 of us wanted. We asked the waitress what she liked, she said im a vegetarian I have only tried 2 things. Id say learn what other people say is good and make something up! The worst part, all of our food was appetizer size at full entree price, we all left hungry.

The fact that there is a people complimenting that this place has large portions and appetizers only shows that the reviews may very well be PAYED FOR. I had to go to different restaurant after leaving because couldn't have been more unsatisfied. I went there and let me be real here. There are only about 8+ things on the menu. There were no appetizers. I ordered the skewers PLURAL only to be told that there was only one and it was "big." If it was "big" then every grocery store in the country that sells them must be losing money. 3 bite size Pieces of Meat without any sides for 12 dollars. It's a shame because the atmosphere and live music was great but I don't why they even bother with food.
