Pretty nice restaurant with both japanese, and Chinese food. The sushi rolls are large and fresh.
Shumai was delicious, as was the calamari. Crispy and delicate.
Will definitely be back to check out more of the menu.

Always good service and good food. Nothing to complain about here. The interior is clean and up to date. Great spot for lunch and dinner. We have been going and will continue to go for years.

Sumo Sushi has an excellent selection of both classic and unusual sushi and sashimi dishes. It also offers plenty of other Japanese fare in a sleek, tasteful setting. This is one of those restaurants that is nicer on the inside than its exterior would suggest.

Food is okay, definitely better options around but it gets the job done. Staff is friendly. Definitely don’t use your real email address when ordering online though. I use Apple’s Hide My Email feature and had 107 junk emails sent to the temp address I created for online ordering at Sumo Sushi. I imagine it’s not the restaurant’s fault, most likely the online ordering system vendor. But it’s still a precaution you have to take when ordering from this restaurant.

So we decided to try this place based on reviews and having a craving for Japanese Hibachi. The atmosphere and staff are very pleasant and eager to serve. We started with simple California rolls that were good. I suspect their other rolls follow suit. For dinner, I ordered the filet mignon medium rare. I was served very over cooked steak smothered in a sauce that was sweet, but lacking in flavor. I was disappointed.

Had dinner here with a friend, he had maki, I had Sukiyaki. Service was great, food was good.

The best freshest sushi in the area. Great atmosphere too. The only reason not 5 stars is because if their slow service. Possibly not their fault due to staffing shortages but they had only 3 waitresses on a very busy night. This caused long delays.
