The Pancake Parlour

One of the few rare fine establishment that still exists in Dandenong. Its a fine place to visit for any given occasion. The service here is excellent and very much impressive. The quality of the meals itself are a wonder and even the quantity is at a quite big. The building itself was very exquisite. I love some of the medieval theme decorations they have going, with also a bit of the retro 50s jive they have kicking. Normally stuff like this people would fail at badly because you have to decide whether you go with either one style or the other, but Pancake Parlour has done this in a very peaceful harmony. I also like how they set up this old school family friendly atmosphere they have going. Makes you feel like you stepped into a 90s sitcom. Which is great as a lot of restaurants these in effort to make their establishment classy, tend to make it look all cliché. It's good that this place wants you to not just remember the meals but the experience as well, which is something other restaurants should learn from. However my only complaint is that due to their location they are at a big disadvantage. This is because of the traffic as where they are located there is almost continuous amount of traffic. One wrong turn and you have to drive all the way back around and try again. Overall it's a gem 💎 of a place to check out. They have everything to impress.

Went for lunch today, the place is filthy. The mirror I was facing had grease and streaks all over it. Some one had used it to scribble in the dirt. The tables behind us had dirt & dust under neath and even some cutlery on the floor. There were 12 or us and meals came out at staggered times and one was forgotten and had to wait longer. It is a lovely old building but really needs a good clean. Makes one wonder what the kitchen looks like!

Always lovely coming here after having a meeting in Dandy. I can't think of any issues that I have had and if something has ever been forgotten the staff are really great and will quickly fix it up for you. The manager and other staff are always accommodating and my group of friends and colleagues can get quite loud and sometimes we lose track of time and stay just a little after closing but the staff are always more than accommodating and always friendly about it. My friends and I look forward to coming back next time!

there meals are nice as are at all pancake parlours that ive been. there service is friendly and positive. Its facade is quite a bit outdated also old. Ive been going there my entire life so far that i can remember its that old its always looked the same on the outside that i know of. However without it i would have to make quite a journey to another pancake parlour.
