Brunch Apothecary

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this spot. We like to come at least once a month to treat ourselves. The specials change regularly, food tastes great, portions are appropriate and plates are reasonably priced. The staff and servers are fantastic. Definitely would recommend this place and if you want to avoid the line/wait, show up early, like at opening, bc folks WILL wait an hour to eat here.

Our daughter took us here for breakfast and I must say the food is phenomenal! This is not your ordinary run of the mill breakfast dive this is breakfast for a king. This little house holds so much charm and warmth. The staff is amazing, they are all attentive and helpful. The worst part is deciding what to get! No matter what you choose you won't be disappointed. The Southern Smothered Biscuit is insane you have to try it. The cat head biscuits are so big and fluffy you may want to get some to go. Be sure to get here early too as they get full really quick.

My wife and I had brunch for the first time today, and it did not disappoint. The wait was about 30 mins which was quick seeing as it was a Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and attentive, asking if we would like some coffee while we waited. Once seated our sever came to take our drink orders almost immediately, and since we had already looked over the menu while waiting, we went ahead and ordered. I ordered the steak and eggs, and my wife had a country fried steak biscuit with gravy and a side of hash brown casserole. The portions were too large for either of us to finish, and when I say it was delicious I mean Delicious! The steak was prepared exactly as I requested and when it was delivered she waited to see if it was cooked how I wanted. The country fried steak was tender and had just the right about of seasoning. Her biscuit was about the size of the plate, and the gravy had the perfect consistency. All of this with a price tag of $34 means we will be back again soon!

I loved the warmth & country feel of the place. The food was pretty good but I feel like the service maybe wasn't the best. Two mistakes were made on my order and the waitress wasn't necessarily apologetic although she was very pleasant. Over all it was a nice experience! My husband and I arrived right at opening with hopes of beating the crowds but it got busy fast and before we knew it we had seated guests all around us. I wouldn't say covid friendly if you are being cautious like myself. Felt a bit tight.

This was my first time experiencing this restaurant. I'm very pleased. It was recommended by my coworker who I met up with to have lunch. Lily was our waiter and she was phenomenal! Extremely professional and polite. She told us the specials for the day. I opted for the steak and eggs add cheese and a waffle and substituted the toast for a biscuit. She brought out our food piping hot. I would definitely eat here again as well as recommend. Thank you Lily for your awesome service! You and the food made it a great day for me and my friend.

Nice brunch - not too hot and was breezy outside. I think the outdoors patio is what I prefer, away from the echoing sound indoors, although the indoors is cute including original historical architectural details. The brunch special looked good in the plate, and was delicious, especially the creative waffle, and the pickled onions were a delicious and balancing addition. I think savory waffles should be made more often.

The service at the Brunch Apothecary was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the overall vibe was great. They really take care of you here, and the prices are fair for what you get. I highly recommend the Pork Belly Benedict, as the avocado hollandaise sauce is incredible and the potatos that come with it are cooked to perfection. Word to the wise: if you’re trying to be seated without a wait, get there before the restaurant opens. I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant at 8:40am, and I immediately got in line. By the time the place opened at 9:00am, there were 30+ people outside standing in line, and the line was wrapped around the building. This place gets extremely busy by 10am, and I initially had to come back the next day because they had an almost two hour wait the first time I tried to eat Saturday brunch here. If you don’t mind a wait, or make reservations, it’s well worth the trip for the food and great service. Overall experience: 10/10 and would recommend.
