Holy moly Henrys is AMAZING! The service was probably the most friendly and attentive we’ve experienced in a while. Restaurant decor and ambience is lovely. Food was divine!! Shared plates are adequately portioned and serve quickly. The mains are perfect portion sizes and were so beautifully presented! Our 40 minute drive to Henrys was well worth it!

Nikkei cuisine is a fusion of both Japanese and South American cuisine and Henrys absolutely nailed it. We started off with some 'Sydney Rock Oysters' with a ginger mignonette, followed by their 'Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi'. This had a chipotle emulsion, fried shallots and to my surprise, pickled cucumber. The flavours and textures worked and the presentation was just gorgeous. Of course I had to order the 'Wagyu Beef MS7+ Tartare' and wow! It was so unique and I loved that it was served with nori sheets. This was a favourite. We also ordered the 'Seared Canadian Scallops' served on creamy white asparagus then topped with Avruga caviar and prosciutto dust. Trust me, this tasted as good as it looks and sounds, and the scallops were cooked beautifully. Recommended by our waiter, we ordered the 'Crispy Flathead Tacos'. The fish was great, not too oily and the Habanero mayo was the perfect match for it. The only issue with this dish was that we ordered one taco each.. I NEEDED MORE! We continued with another starter, the 'Truffle Polenta Chips'. They looked more like cubes than chips, but they were still delicious. I would have preferred them a lot more crispier on the outside but that's just me. They were perfect as a side dish to the main dish we ordered, the 'Tajima Wagyu Striploin MS7+ with Baby King Mushroom & Japanese Jus'. I didn't hate this meal but it wasn't my favourite. I usually like my steak medium rare and without mushrooms, so this was just a personal preference. It was so hard to choose between the three desserts because they all sounded so lush! Again, we asked out waiter for her suggestion and she went with the 'Deconstructed Goat's Curd Cheesecake' which honestly, was the one I wanted the most. The taste of the goat's curd really came through and since I'm a huge fan of goat's cheese, I didn't mind it at all. Perfect way to finish off our lunch! I've also got to mention that halfway through our lunch, we were surprised with a couple of their signature cocktails. These are dangerously delicious! I highly recommend this place for any occasion! Dates, family get togethers, brunch with the ladies. It's such a chill venue with a great menu and I would definitely return!

The food is at best ok. I don't believe I will die after my meal however my friends that had the fish may not it. I have genuine fear for my toilet bowl.....

Unfortunately I can’t say our recent experience was at all pleasurable. The service was average at best, we were told to quickly order as soon as we sat down as the kitchen wanted to close (8pm). The $100 bottle of wine that was highly recommended that I ordered was almost undrinkable (I’ve had better bottles for $20). The chicken I ordered was nothing like the first time I had tried it. Our second serving of focaccia came out almost uncooked (they did replace it with another one). Our potatoes we ordered also never arrived. All our food was rushed out of the kitchen without any time to properly enjoy the experience. Then to top off an already disappointing meal and experience, we were handed our bill and thanked for dining without even asking for it or being ready to leave (this was at 9:10pm roughly, they close at 10pm) this really put the nail in the coffin. I returned to Henry’s after a fairly pleasurable experience the first and second time. I even tipped our waitress heavily after what was already a $400 bill as I appreciated the service we received from our second time there. After this experience, I won’t ever dine at Henry’s again or further recommend them to friends and family.

We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us their recommendations on their most popular dessert. We ordered all 3 desserts as they all sounded delicious. Henry’s did not disappoint. Loved all 3, but the ‘espresso martini mousse’ was heavenly! If these sweet treats are anything to go by, we can’t wait to come back to try their dinner menu.

Great Food, so delicious !! Great Cocktails !! And had a delicious glass of Pinot Noir to accompany our meal. Staff were super friendly and great to deal with. Only thing that didn't make it 5 stars rating was the music was a bit too upbeat for dinner, lighting was very bright and staff had to be prompted for small things, Spoon with dessert, napkins and bill. (more casual cafe vibe) We also were sitting so close to the table next to us we had to physically move our table away from them. As we were kind of on top of each other when seated. The previous time we went during the day for brunch, they ran out of milk and couldn't make us a coffee to take away. This time for dinner they didn't didn't have any cheese, so one of the dishes we wanted was unavailable on the menu. I'd happily go back as all in all was very good.

Booked Henry's for my sister's birthday last Sunday due to seeing great things on Instagram. The food itself was decent and somewhat price appropriate, although not memorable. It was the level of service that led me to leave 2-stars though. One gentleman (curly hair if I recall correctly) was extremely polite and accommodating (but he could just be good in comparison to everyone else). The ladies seemed very snobby and did not seem to want to serve us. Even when we thanked them for bringing out dishes or clearing our plates, there was hardly ever a response; just felt like they wanted us to eat and get out. On top of that, they had the audacity to ask us to leave a tip when we were paying, which cheapened the whole experience.
