Rustic Mill Diner

Today, 4/23/2022, my husband and I went to this restaurant because it's closer to where we live. Around 8:40 AM, we arrived in the restaurant, the two waitresses just looked at us, never greeted us; so we were the one who initiated to say can we sit down and a short hair lady with highlights, gave us a choice that we can sit down anywhere we want. As we sat down, I felt something is wrong! First, we waited like 7 minutes, and nobody came, so I got up and waved my hands few times to the two waitresses who were chatting near the kitchen door, still the waitress who had highlighted short hair just looked on me, so I wave again, this time, she came and gave us the menu, and we told her that we wanted coffee and 2 glasses of cold water. Second, after 10 minutes again, she came back and we gave our orders. Still no coffee or waters after 5 minutes, she came back after another 5 minutes, then we repeated we needed coffee, so she said yes. This time, the horrible began, the 2 cups of coffee were very dirty, on the sides, so we complained to put the coffee in the clean cups. This time, I ask, the other waitress with long hair, but the other waitress came back and the cup of coffee was still dirty. I feel to myself that this was all intentional, the coffee had a terrible taste (See the attached pictures). Third, our 2 strawberry crepes came, but they were cold, not warm at all, and the chocolate syrup was added on the top, in a very sloppy manner (See pictures). We ate very little of our food and were very glad to leave! We complained again to the cashier while we were leaving and she told us that there had been many complaints about that waitress. We left and promised ourselves that we will never eat at the Rustic Mill Diner again. What a very poor experience, expensive, and the customer service was terrible, and the food was poorly prepared and served! Future customers beware!

I don’t know how these people have a four star rating actually I don’t even know how they’re still in business it should be shut down immediately, outside of their menu being a total lie on Seamless the food that they incorrectly sent itself was even horrible presentation alone was enough for me to just throw it all out. Shame on you people.

We had a nice dinner at Rustic Mill (myself and my kids). We haven't been to Rustic Mill in several years...I'd say 9. Renovated/updated in the last couple of years. Interior is bright with white and blue hues. Our server was very nice. Food was delicious...fresh. Desserts in display fridge looked fantastic!...but we were too full to indulge. I was sad to see how understaffed they were (not their fault). Felt badly they turned away 3 tables of guests because they were closing an hour early due to lack of staff. I hope things change soon for these businesses. We'll definitely be back to Rustic Mill... sooner.

I was there yesterday and decided to have a dinner dish which was Chicken and Shrimp Franciase as illustrated in the photo. I have been here a few times before and received decent service but this last time was exceptional and quick. Delicious dish that I highly recommend plus for a reasonable price I couldn't complain. In addition to their dinner dishes, they also have incredibly fantastic breakfast especially the pancakes. Looking forward to many more visits to this diner.
