***I'd highly discourage anyone with a food allergy from eating at Pippa's Cafe**
I'll preface this by saying, I realize how difficult it is to wok in the service industry. I rarely, if ever, write bad reviews. However, in this instance I feel compelled to do so.
I've been a loyal customer of Pippa's off and on since 2016.
Background information - my lovely cousins flew into town this week for our annual family trip. On Weds (6/8) we were all starving after we left the Concord area - so of course I thought of Pippa's.
Admittedly, we were catching up on memories and laughing when we ordered our food so we were all a bit distracted.
One of my cousins has a severe lactose allergy and when her salad arrived we realized it came with Feta cheese. My cousin politely and discretely explained her lactose allergy to our server and asked if it would be possible to ask the chef to prepare a new salad without feta.
Despite the fact that my cousin's request for a new salad was solely based on a medical issue, our served refused to compromise or accommodate the request, aside from offering the two options below.
1)Eat the salad
2) Pay for a new salad
The rationale provided by our server was that if she replaced my cousin's salad, free of charge, she would have to "do it for everyone".
Needless to say, we were very disappointed with our server's demeanor, inflexibility, and her delivery.
I dine out fairly often and I've occasionally had to send food back. I can honestly say I've never had a restaurant employee balk at a request like this.
I'm deeply disappointed in our experience and the utter lack of customer service. I will not be dining at Pippa's Cafe again.

We visited Pippa’s after a very VERY long hiatus, I am happy to report we very much enjoyed our meal. The seafood ravioli was on point, the vodka sauce is just excellent, mixed with the flavor of crab and shrimp is to die for…….. I posted a pic, the vodka sauce is very creamy and I added Parmesan cheese - making it mouth watering. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan dinner and I had a little sample, very good flavor and the chicken was light breaded and fried. I want to mention that an often overlooked but excellent bonus of any entree is the side dinner salad, it is actually decent size, always fresh and the dried cranberries thrown in, gives it a great flavor with their ranch dressing. Service was excellent and the crowd was entertaining on a Karaoke night.

The food was wonderful. I had the grilled chicken wrap which was delicious.

Put in order. Appetizers fairly quick. Checked on once after ordering despite 45 minutes since ordering. Asked about salad got it about 55 minutes. Took over an hour to get entrees. Burger charred on one side, right on the other.
In the past has been a “go to” place. No management checked on us or came to apologize. Waitress just said that kitchen was slow.
Would hope this is a one off problem, I know staff hard to come by but service recovery leaves something to be desired.

Food was good but the young waitress spent more time with her parents than waitressing. Ordered fried Pickles for an appetizer. The serving was about 1/3rd of what we usually get. The draft beer wasn't as cold as I'm used to. The pitcher had a built in container for ice but there was nothing in it.

Good food and atmosphere. But a big place like that with only one single bathroom for men and women? They need to fix that before they can get more than 3 stars from me. The 4 men in front of me waiting would also agree.

This place is amazing..from the minute you walk in..your at home surrounded by smiles and great conversation. My wife and i had a really great time..Owner and his staff are a class above the rest...may be that northern vibe GO BILLS & Yankees...

Good little neighborhood bar and grill, we frequent here because its close to the house, food quality could be a bit better and more consistent but overall great for what it is, service is usually good. solid 4 star place with strong potential for 5!
