Fantastic place to stop for a break. There was a purpose built bike shed which kept them out of the rain. We got a great welcome and the food, drinks and service inside were all superb. Couldn’t ask for more.
Lovely little cafe in a stunning setting. Menu is quite limited and they'd run out of most drinks on Wednesday but we had some nice sandwiches with fresh salad. Lots of cyclists and bikers stop here. You can also buy food for the ducks and it's a little post office, although shame they don't sell postcards.
Great tea room, had one of the toasties, a hog roast sausage roll, and speciality cake. Were all very tasty indeed and the service was down to earth and genuine despite the heat-sapping conditions at the time. As always seems to happen to …
