This place is a gem hiding in plain sight. We stopped in around 4PM looking to grab dinner but the kitchen opens at 5; we grabbed seats at the bar for cocktails while we waited. The bar staff was very friendly and we learned they were serving their family meal in the back room. The staff jokes around like brothers and sisters, great bunch of people creating a fun atmosphere. The cocktails were very good and the hour went quickly. Moved to our table for dinner and ordered. Every dish that came out was superb. This is just a local bar/pub but they don't seem to know that. Highly recommend the pork neck meatball (insider tip - add an order of focaccia, it's not on the menu but they will happily do it), delicata squash with goat cheese, caramelle pasta and branzino (beurre blanc was delicious). Everyone in our party picked a different dish as their favorite so you know they were all great.
Since dinner was so much fun we decided to go back for lunch another day. Again, the staff was fun and friendly and the food was amazing. I got the breakfast sandwich with sausage stuffed bacon (who ever thought of this needs an award) but asked to substitute the english muffin with their house-made sesame onion bialy. What a messy heavenly lunch. Again, everyone was very happy with what they ordered but I will stick with my choice next time I am fortunate enough to visit again.

I heard Peayton was a great bartender... but alas, he wasn't there. his good friends Chris and David were incredible tho. had the meatball with polenta and several tequila shots. 10/10 would return even if Peiton isn't working.

Had Sunday Brunch with the family and it was fantastic. We all had different entrees and shared and all were fantastic. Our server was the best. AND… the whiskey selection was amazing! Got a pour of the 2023 WLW. WOW. Highly recommended!

Not sure why Google thinks this is a hotel. This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites. Everything I've had is amazing. The food is comforting and yet sophisticated. Vegetarians will have great options. The menu is limited but this is a good thing because quality is unwaivering. The only thing that may deter you is that's the space is slightly on the smaller size. Great for dinner dates. Great whiskey selection

Cute place. Kind of full of themselves. Service was good. Attentive to fill the water. Never rushed us. Very loud. Great for a bar. The food was limited and tried to be trendy.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. $200 bill for five drinks, two apps, and two of the large plates - not bad of a price since I loved the service and the food! We got the dry aged steak and sausage stuffed pork belly. My husband and his friend tried a couple of the whiskey drinks each, splendid. It was very loud in there, so be prepared, but overall we had a really fantastic night and our server was a good man, giving us all of the recommendations!

Worth a detour. Love this place. Food, drinks, vibe, service—all excellent. And I have to say I like it better as a Michelin Bib Gourmand than as a one-star. The menu is more accessible in every way, and all the food is still delicious.

This place is amazing. The service is top notch. The staff is so nice. And the food is to dire for. You can hang out for a casual drink at the bar or get an elevated dining experience with the amazing selection of dishes. Not to mention the seemingly limitless list of whiskies. You are doing yourself a disservice if you are in town and don’t check this place out.

Fabulous! The food is outstanding. It's not a wonder why they have more than one Michelin Star. The bourbon, whiskey and rye selection is unbelievable. If you're intimidated by how much they have and you're looking to try something new, tell them what you usually drink or like and they can recommend something for you. If you're looking for what you usually drink or like, they probably have it.
It's right off the Logan Square blue line stop and the bus stop is right there too. The neighborhood is really quiet and nice.
