I got an iced red eye which for me is almost always good everywhere I go. My friend got the lavender latte and a peanut butter cookie the cookie was kinda hard she said but it was “okay” in her opinion.

Stopped in on a road trip with a group. Picked up 2 lates and a drip coffee plus an almost croissant. Service was fast and friendly, the drinks were hot and tasty, the baked goods were soft and flavorful. If this was my local coffee shop I would be very happy I'll have to come back on a trip!!

Having driven from the Boston area the night before, HiLo was a welcome and surprising TREAT- a feast for the eyes and the tummy.

New fave local coffee shop, the cinnamon dolce latte with oat milk is my go to and the service is always top notch. I also love that they carry a variety of local baked goods, especially my fave almond croissant from See & Be, if you haven’t tried one yet you have to!

Spent a few days in eastern Catskills for a getaway from NYC and came across this lovely establishment. Purchased a Matcha latte, Mocha latte and fresh lemonade. All drinks were made to perfection. The best matcha latte I’ve ever had and that says a lot since I live in NYC and have tried many. The mocha latte was perfect balance and the lemonade was so refreshing and unique. Service was friendly. Have been dreaming of returning on my next trip to the Catskills for another matcha latte!!

Liam and Rose are an absolute DELIGHT to work with! We initially reached out to HiLo Catskill to see if they offered bartending services for private events, and we were happily surprised when Liam responded saying they do! For MONTHS Liam and Rose worked with us going back and forth on recipes for fun, exciting, and unique signature cocktails for our menu. Liam was always very quick to respond, and provided expert recommendations. It was such a relief knowing we were working with someone who knows cocktails - not just some bartender making rum & coke lol. Liam also provided us with suggestions on quantities and recommended brands of EVERYTHING we needed to stock the bar with (while also being cost-conscience!) Moreover, the day after the wedding the owner of the wedding venue came up to me and told me specifically what a pleasure it was to work with Rose. She raved about her professionalism, creativity, respect, etc. She said she would absolutely be recommending HiLo to her future guests, as well! We look forward to the next event where we get to work with Liam and Rose, and we HIGHLY recommend HiLo Catskill to others!! THANK YOU LIAM & ROSE!!

This cafe has a whimsical feel to it with a laid back vibe. It was a wonderful place to stop and have a bite to eat. There are some very creative art pieces. I highly recommend the “Norman Bates” sandwich it was so good! The village of Catskill is very nice! I highly suggest a visit there.

HiLo is a great little coffee house to have in the village! The coffee and food choices are healthy and local, and the staff is happy to tell you about the specials of the day. Sometimes it gets a bit busy and you have to wait a few minutes, but it's just a testament to how good their coffee is!

This cafe has a very welcoming/community oriented environment. I had some issues with what I ordered, but the management was so sweet and accommodating once I expressed it to them. Definitely a business full of good people making the best of this very strange coronavirus world. Thanks HiLo :)

Great wine options. Cool coffee bar. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Music and speakers at different times throughout the week. It was a fun experience. A positive addition to the Village of Catskill.

The only thing we could find open late after our evening disco nap. We had a total if 5 drinks and enjoyed them all. The Yoga Mom is a great, refreshing cocktail. The vibe is artsy without being affected. The crowd of mostly locals was interesting, in a good way, and the bartender was friendly and competent.

HiLo is the heart of Catskill. The coffee is superb, the menu and beverage offerings are thoughtful and delicious and it seems like they're always open! The owners and staff are friendly and their commitment to quality shows. The Norman Bates ciabatta sandwich (with ham) is amazing! Enjoy your visit here!

Wow! Great atmosphere, delicious eats. Local artists on the walls. Front is a small cafe, followed by a long bar, lounge space in the back. It's like three different places in one! Hummus Slam was delicious.

This is my first time to have a coffee at Hilo. I really enjoy their great coffee and cozy place. It was Thursday noon, not crowded and their WiFi was performing well, so I could work well on my laptop. I like their friendly staffs as well! I would love to come back again when I come to Catskill :)

A great little spot. Live music from serious musicians. A menu with a different touch, which is nice. Great coffee and a small bar that's just perfect for its size. I walked in with my small Lab and they gave her a bowl of fresh water without blinking an eye. My kinda place.😎

Small but very interesting tapas menu, with vegan and GF option. Fresh locally grown vegetables bursting with colors and flavors, surprising options like sardines with Indian pickle spread to tickle your palate...
Amazing drink menu, including local draft beer. The bartender is a virtuoso!!! But is all you are in the mood for is tea...you are still in the right place.
