Update: This place closed in Spring 2014. I think this location is cursed.
I was hesitant to go in to Jarro because of the bad reputation of the restaurant that was here before. We took the plunge and stopped in for a Sunday brunch. We were impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had crispy pork belly with egg and cheese on a roll with a mixed green salad and a tasty dressing. My boyfriend had a goat cheese and mushroom omelette. The food was tasty (even though the bf thought the omelette could have used more cheese). The decor is cool and modern with a little of the shabby chic thing going on. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely go again.
