Love the sushi here, I usually do take out, but it is also my go-to, it's close, and usually wait list for takeouts are 15-20, even if you are walking in, they usually have space for you to seat, and don't have to wait most of the time.

Service is amazing and their food is great! I heard about this place through a friend and decided to give it a go since I needed a katsu fix and it’s hard finding a place in Brooklyn that makes good katsu. To my surprise it was actually pretty good. There was a decent amount of meat (not too thin like other restaurants) and layer of breading. Although I found it to be quite dry alone, they provide sauce for you to dip in. The sauce tasted like ketchup? I’m not a huge fan of the sauce and I would prefer if they offered other options with their katsu like curry but it satisfied me till my next trip 👍👍

Love this place. I’ve only gotten their bento boxes, my favorite is probably the salmon. Tasty and good portions. What I LOVE is that they give salad and shrimp+sweet potato tempura with my bento box (miso soup as well but every place does that). This is what sets this place apart!

The food was fresh, hot and beautifully presented. Tasted as good as it looked. Quite small but cozy, intimate setting, bathroom available and clean. Service was a bit stale at first but eventually warmed up and by the end was on point. Went from what I thought would be a one star review, to a four star. They deserved it. Shashimi was fresh and my guy was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend

Best place to enjoy the best fresh sushi. Have been going to this restaurant for 10 years and now we travel all the way from NJ to come eat here every special occasions. Ps Best fried icecream. 2022 still the best place to eat. Now traveling 1 hour 35 minutes just to eat from this beautiful restaurant 😋 😍 👌 😊 🙌 Update: 05-08-22 Still the best Sushi 🍣 😋 😍 restaurant 😋. No one can beat this restaurant now its been 13 years since we are going here and the tast and the excellent experience, quality of the food never changed. The owner of this place is a blessing in this part of Brooklyn for having very honest and beautiful atmosphere food served and cooked with love. We have nothing but good and beautiful things to say about this Chikurin and the owner. Today was mothers day so We traveled from NJ drove 2.5 hours each way. Trust me the food is that good. 😋
