Uncle Sams

A little seaside treat on a sunny afternoon! Had heard good things about Uncle Sam’s from fellow burger fans! Popped by twice in the last couple months - well worth giving it a go! A hidden gem within the hustle and bustle of the seafront - blink and you’ll miss it kinda place The shop operates out of a tuck-shop style window - serving up fresh beef, chicken and veggie burgers. Great value and meal deals are available too! It’s takeaway only, though there is a small table to grab if you can! Service was super quick, both chefs I spoke to were really polite and super friendly. Great vibes and long may Uncle Sam’s live on! Will be back soon 🍔

I remember twenty years ago living a couple of buildings up the street from Montpelier Uncle Sam's. My favourite burger was a blue cheese but the top combo was definitely the All Star Meal Deal. Just shut up and pay the extra for a shake instead. I remember walking to the end of the street to watch the West Pier burn for half an hour and then collecting a burger before eating it sitting on my doorstep. Uncle Sam's - a true Brighton institution. H

I've been going to this branch for the past 15 years and can vouch that Montpellier is without a doubt the best....Rifai is a great asset to the restaurant. Always smiling and customer service is second to none! It's always a pleasure to see him followed by the best burger in town 💪 keep up the good work Rifai ❤
