The Mucky Duck

Went in Thursday after work 5ish with my other half. Omg what a hidden gem.The bar staff were happy and pleased to serve us two glasses of Riocca which was very nice. Whilst we were there we saw lots of people eating Thai food and a couple with a pug said it was amazing so we returned later after an appointment and had some food . Wow what a lovely surprise the food was amazing and plenty of it fabulous value too. Will definitely return again especially for the food . Nice to see customer service is still served with a smile only place I would recommend around St James Street. Thank you we will be returning very soon .

I had heard good things about the Thai food from friends, and I already knew about the great beer selection, so I headed there last night before going to The Dome. 6pm and the pub was heaving, but we found a table for two. We placed our order for a selection of 5 starters, and I was more than pleasantly surprised that it didn't cost more than £50, with two pints as well. We had an apology that the food might take a little while, as a large order that just been placed and food is all cooked to order. In my book, a 30 minute wait for piping hot, fantastically tasting food is not an inconvenience. We will be going back again.
