Girasole

As a former Bound Brook resident, years ago, I used to really enjoy eating here. Even celebrated my engagement with my now husband at this place, 18 years ago. We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch and I can honestly say that is was just as great a restaurant as it was two decades ago. We absolutely loved it!

Our server was absolutely excellent and very attentive to detail. They have a fairly large menu and many specials. We got the veal and butternut squash ravioli in cream sauce. The portions are pretty small but the food is rich so it did not leave us wanting more. The dining room is quaint but they have outdoor seating as well. Overall a quality italian restaurant.

This was one of my wife and I favorite restaurants back about 6,7 years ago. We travel a lot, and you know how it goes... trying other places, putney things. Fast forward... tasty is my birthday. My wife asks me if I want to go out to eat, and Girasole was one of the choices!! I jumped at it, you know, like an old favorite memory that somebody reminding you of like..."Oh yeah!!" When we get there it was going back 6,7 years to when we used to hit them at least once a month! And the food was just as great today as it was then! And like then, my wife got a dish that shocked me. And that ain't easy!! I got the filet, she had chicken rolotini. Both specials both delicious! Their menu is very specialized. Chicken, veal, lamb, shrimp, a fish. Various dishes of each. And done to perfection! And their specials list is unreal! I dare you to pick one without having to make a difficult choice!
