Visited here after a few years and it's still the same great food. The kebabs are first class as usual.

One of the best kebabs in Belfast but very expensive at about £15 for a large one on chips. Chips were good, meat was good and plenty of sauce and not much of a wait despite lots of orders.
It is ridiculous though that if you don’t like onions then you pay £1 more to have an Irish kebab, this is just the same kebab without onions (or supposed to be without onions as a few ended up in mine). Pay more to have less

It's not a place to sit in by any means, the banter as you grab a midnight kebab is always good. The kebabs stand out as outstanding.
Outstanding. Let's say it again.
So get your chips with kebab, or on bread... but get it done. You won't be disappointed. It's happiness in a bread.
Soaks up the beer when you had too much. Save yourself, save Belfast.

Take away shop with plenty options, advertise vegetarian food but didn't have anything when I asked about it, so my friend couldn't get anything. I got doner on chips and it was lovely

Award-winning kebab shop, a legend in certain circles. Usually busy, always efficient and friendly, helping to feed students and enlightened citizens of BT9. Tonight's treat was a falafel and chips, served with spicy house sauce and lots of fresh salad. It looks like everything is cooked-to-ordet The chips are fresh and hot, and the three falefels were tasty but a little overooked - a small quibble. Overall, a delicious and value-for-money dinner/supper/ whatever-you- fancy. We'll be back!

Absolutely amazing.l had the mixed kebab with chips and salad(with the house sauce).The smell alone made my mouth water and the taste was amazing. It was my second time going there. I regret not having gone there more often
Their kebabs are to die for.Highly recomment them.Unfortunately l devoured the food the moment l got it and forgot to take a photo.

I have been harking on about the Sphinx kebabs for ages. Put Sphinx top of the to do list for our visit home to NI and went last night with my family. Now they see what I’ve been going on about. Kebab on chips with salad and Sphinx sauce… a taste sensation!

After more than 20 years, I have visited today Sphinx, it is amazing the sauce they make for kebab, great!!!the flavour still the same. I do advise anyone to pop in for a kebab.

They are the best kebab for a reason 🤤 one of the must gets is a mixed kebab with chips, sphinx sauce, and salad. Absolutely unreal! Best kebab I have had and believe me I've had a few! Their gyros are amazing as well as their chicken stuff! It's all cooked to perfection and the meat isn't dry or too grease or too fatty, it's just perfect. If you order online, within 20 mins you have the food piping hot and ready to eat. The staff have been super nice every time I have gone in and they're always really welcoming! Can't wait to go back soon 🙌

Best kebab in northern Ireland and the best I've had in ages. Basically a 4 foot tall beef jerky carved and put in a tray with sauce and chips
