We had Andy in the Pizza truck at our Corporate screening of Bathurst 2022 and the reaction from our clients was WOW! They loved the pizza options, the flavours, and Andy's service with a smile. He arrived on time, pumped out the Pizza, cleaned up and left the place spotless. In the 7 years it's been between when I last used him and now, he's only got better! Thanks Stumpy's for a job well done.

We just got 2 woodfire pizzas with added extra toppings, drink & sides for $48. SO GOOD! Everything was amazing, fries were incredible, delicious authentic pizzas! Definitely will becoming regulars!

Chicken run and pepperoni, grande size. 7 mins to make pizza so very quick, nice light base but overly thick and doughy crust (wish it was thinner.) chicken had a nice caramelised taste from the onion and the bell peppers which added a bit of sourness. Toppings were cooked nicely, wish the cheese was a little softer and melted in your mouth as it had set harder. Pepperoni added enough peppery flavor without the jalapeños and had a chorizo taste. Good pizza value $34 for both, but 1 grande is probably not enough to be shared among 2

I've been to Stumpy's Pizza at Street Feast a few times.
I really enjoyed having both the Veg Italiano and Stumpy's Supreme pizza.
The chef makes the pizza quickly and passionately, on a woodfired stone oven, to provide a nice crunchy base.

The pizza is good and so is the price. Staff is not very helpful sometimes, specially when they have too many orders. Menu has a limited selection, but good ingredients and well presented. A good place to have a better pizza.

So disappointed...purchased 4 Pizza travelled 5 mins up the road to eat in park....Pizza was so under cooked and soggy u could not even pick it up...toppings were below average...wont go there again...

Beautiful flavours, I wish pizzas could travel better in cardboard boxes without going a bit soggy but will definitely order again and would highly recommend Stumpy's Pizza.

Running 1st place auckland pizza in my opinion, also on dominion road. Great friendly owner who makes excellent bases and wood fires his pizzas instore. Always quick, no wait and you can even eat in with the 5 seats they have if its quite which it usually is. This is local business and im proud to support it, well worth it ;)

Been to stumpys a few times and the pizza is always top notch. However this time the pizzas arrived 20mins later than advertised and they were incorrect. The Freedom fries were so white and anemic Donald Trump would marry them. Unsure if I would go again.<br/>

Tried their vegetarian pizzas. Not bad at all. Their base is the star. Light and perfectly crispy. Toppings could have been better with the Margherita. Too less in our opinion. We were all very much impressed by their service which was quick and attentive. Fresh basil used plucked in front of our eyes. Totally guilt free pizzas as they don't fill you up too much but just enough. Will be back to try other pizzas for sure.

Best pizza base ever!!! Generally when I get take away pizza and feel that I am getting full, I will munch off all the parts with toppings and throw the edge away. But with Stumpy's, I ate the entire thing for every single slice because they were the perfect balance of slight chewiness and that yummy crisp texture you want from pizza base. <br/><br/>Perfect amount of topping for the price. Highly recommend fun guy and pepperoni!If you enjoy spicy food, definitely try the Pepperoni Pizza as the jalapenõs on top do pack a punch.

Ordered for takeaways on a saturday evening. <br/>We ordered the fun guy(mushroom) and vege out pizzaz. They told me on the phone it would be 15 minutes and sure enough the order was ready within the time frame. <br/>The pizza was delicious, the right amount of filling, dough was great. The vege out was slightly soggy in the middle thats the only downside. We were satisfied and would go back for sure!

Pizza bases are by far the best we have tried in Auckland so far. Pizza's are topped with fresh and tasty ingredients and this is the closest place we have found to authentic pizza. Love it.

The place was a small shop with 2-5 chairs for eat-in, but the place was pretty cozy for a pizza place.<br/><br/>The service was very friendly and made me feel welcome.<br/><br/>Ordered the hawaiian and anchovies pizza to eat-in. Freshly made by order, it came out piping hot and crispy crust. It was your typical wood fired pizza, so you know it's special.<br/><br/>Portion size was ok, not too big esp w the fact that it's a rather thin pizza not thick, but this is what you expected from a wood fired pizza.<br/><br/>Topping was generous, flavor was pretty good and I noticed that there were a lot of ppl dropping in for pick-up.<br/><br/>Would def come back when I'm in a mood for a slightly gourmet pizza.

Tonight my partner spontaneously decided to take me to Stumpy's pizza. When I first read the menu, I saw beef lasagna listed and instantly knew that I was going to order it! He ordered the garlic bread and pepperoni pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. I definitely recommend the lasagna :)

So just finished my pizza from this place. As previous reviewers have said the pizza is pretty damn good. Thin crust, good sauce and good dough. And not too many toppings that the pizza ends up becoming a pizza Hutt job. Really happy with price, taste. I wouldn't hang here and eat but it is a fantastic takeaway only place.

We've had takeout from stumpy maybe 5 times now and its always fab. Great toppings and base. They get the proportions of each topping just right, unlike the lottery that is the usual pizza chain. What's the issue with a little burn on your wood-fired pizza Loralen? Lovely stuff!

The only pizza we have tasted in NZ that is comparable to the that in italy. Perfect bases and delicious toppings. Great price! Traditional woodfired pizza, no stodgy bases, forget all the other rubbish this is the best.

Their garlic bread had too much salt and some of our pizza was burnt. While some of the food is good, I feel it is too expensive for what you get. They need to reassess either their price or the quality of their food.

Great pizza, love their bases. The pizzas don't come with millions of toppings but they're still really tasty - my favourite is the Hawaiian. The garlic bread pizza is really good too. Wish they had sides of e.g. hot chips though!

Today I was in Onehunga Night Market when I saw a sign written Stumpy's Woodfired Pizza and did not believe because until then .. After first coming across Stumpys at the Silo markets we were wrapped to find he'd set up in Balmoral. Apart from the easy parking the service and Pizza is great.<br/>Simple, tasty, and non-greasy. True classic style pizzas!<br/>Highly recommend giving them a go.

I stopped by after work to pick up some pizza and it was definitely a good idea. I waited about 10 minutes for my food and it was still warm by the time I got home. The base was really thin, just the way I like it and the tomato sauce wasn't too acidic so it didn't take a layer of skin off the roof of my mouth. The toppings look sparse but actually there's enough in each bite to keep you happy. I had a Hawaiian and a pizza bread (garlic bread) and they were both really good. <br/>I'd definitely go back especially for the lunch deals which look reasonable. <br/><br/>The decor was also really nice with drop pendants and a pretty wood fire oven. There's only 5 seats so it's mostly take away but you could sit there in a lunch. <br/>The staff were really friendly and we're actually Italian which was different!

Really good pizza! Best in the dominion road area. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Pizzas are kinda small would probably need two for two people (one pizza to share for two would not be enough if you were hungry)

I don't really understand the amazing reviews for this place. We had pizza here a couple of times here last year and it was good - this year - I've never seen a pizza with such scant toppings, you may as well just use these pizzas as a base for your own creation, we had to otherwise the protein content was basically zero.<br/><br/>I hope you guys actually read this and increase the meat (chicken pizza can hardly be called chicken pizza if it only contains say 3% chicken....) as the neighbourhood is not spoilt for choice!

We tried Stumpy's last night. Very impressed with the staff friendliness, prompt service (10 mins from order), and excellent food. Pizza dough throwing and a wood fire. It's a great take-away addition to the neighbourhood.

Got pizza from stumpys last night. And it was excellent. Made from good ingredients in a proper oven before you eyes. The doughs were fresh and handmade, the staff friendly. Its good to finally have a really good pizza place in the area. Stumpys has instantly become our number one family take away option. Well done guys.
