Wimpy

Decided to try Wimpy this is my first visit to a Wimpy I had never heard of it before but to be honest I thought it was a little lackluster for what it was. My biggest point is the price. I mean £8.45 for a double quarter pounder with cheese is ridiculous.But the food quality was good at least this I could not fault certainly wouldn't come back as for the market that its playing has many other cheaper alternatives doing just as good a job in terms of price and quality.

This was an enjoyable lunch experience, The decor gives a real 19s diner feel which I love. The place is bright and cheerful with an open kitchen. Service was friendly and pretty quick, this goes for each time I have attended (about 10 times) The food is lovely everytime I have been, No complaints onnthe quality, taste or temperature of the food. Delivery attempts have not been so fortunate on the temperature but I cant say thats the restaurants fault. Now the missing star on the review,, I gotta say it, its the price. You can arguable get a lot more food at the same quality for a lot less and yes,- this food is good. I ended up spending £26 for two people, and we simply ordered two meals. I feel that at these prices, drinks should be included or some better value to money offers. Overall, I'd probably visit again, but due to price I really have to be wanting it.

I am incredibly fussy when it comes to food. I always end up complaining. But not at wimpy staff seemed happy and very friendly service is quick. The coffee was just what I needed and the all day breakfast was scrumptious my egg was cooked beautifully oozed perfectly just right for dipping. Will definitely be coming back

Always enjoy it here. Look let's be honest, it's not a gourmet restaurant, it's a wimpy. But the food quality is good for the price and they are always happy to accommodate any requirements if they can. Staff are very friendly and welcoming as well as kid/family friendly and both me and my four old enjoy a cuppa and breakfast once week to just chill here. Oh and the milkshake..... Don't need lunch if you have a milkshake. Overall I like wimpy

Excellent place! The place is spotlessly clean, all the food is cooked fresh to order and standards are always very high. Cannot fault it. The burgers fill you up much more than other burger joints, and they are tastier. Plus there is a wider choice of menu with all day breakfasts, salads and jackets potatoes as well. Even calories per meal are on display so you know how healthy (orbit!) you are.
