The subs are good but way overpriced. The people I interacted with were confused easily. Although I think the subs are good, I'll probably never go back. Just not worth the hassle and price.

Quality of sandwiches are terrible for $11.. Al Capone! Hardly any lettuce, no Pickle and fries are undercooked and soggy! Very disappointed!!! Used to be my favorite place!

I have been going to this same sub shop ever since I was a kid!! The subs are still the best subs around. The fries are one of my favorites!!! Hands down the best seasoning and best fries ever. The people that work there are always awesome. Very respectful even during these difficult Covid times.I love how the owner always wears a mask .She is awesome

Best subs in Chicago area. Fries are like crack. Spicy chili rub is the best sub I’ve had in my life and I am not really a pork fan. I get mad when I pass on Monday’s and they aren’t open. Gonna miss this place when I move

First time customer, the pesto chicken sub was delicious with nice big chuncks of chicken plenty of pesto cheese and fresh tomatoes! Shout out to the young woman working at that cash register. When faced with an extremely rude customer, who started yelling at her and acting ridiculously because she asked for a name for the order. she stayed calm and pleasant! Great job!

Heard nothing but praises for Algonquin Sub shop so I had a taste and thought we'd give it a try. Was kinda busy (good thing). Girl who took order, polite, friendly. But after order received, got home to discover potato salad order not present. Wifes sandwich missing vinaigrette. Too far to go back, but when wife's not happy....... Hoping sandwiches are good.

The sandwiches are a little underwhelming. I ordered the #1. It had a different cheese on it then advertised, so I peeled that off. I had requested tomato’s, pickles and onions, all of those were missing. The pepperchini, were way too hot!! I don’t think there’s was any Italian vinegrgette on it either. I also thought the bread was like what you’d buy in a plastic bag at Jewels deli. Nothing special at all! I did love the soups though! I ordered 2 different ones, and both were excellent!
